More Pictures!

The roofers have certainly been busy. There are only two of them but they are already about 2/3 finished as of August 13.

The sanctuary is taking shape. It is much bigger than what we now have and no longer in the greyhound bus shape!

Not only are the Sunday School rooms much larger, but we will also have a common area for the Sunday School openings!

Can you picture the tables and chairs in this, the fellowship area? Washrooms are to the left and the kitchen is at the far end.

The roofers apply a layer of felt and then the shingles are put in place.

We are getting ready to put on siding. Volunteers can again be used in this step.
Just show up! I am sure someone will put you to work!

Roofing has started!

Roofing started on Tuesday, August 7th. Most of the framing is done, with Les and crew leaving today (Wednesday). They will be back on Monday to lay the second layer of the floor and do the siding and windows. In the meantime, we need volunteers to go up and clean up the floor area! Bring your shop vac if you have one.

Putting Beam and Cross in place

I wasn't sure if I should publish all these pictures but they were so interesting I thought I should share them with you! The steel beam for the sanctuary and the cross are up! It now looks like a church! Work has progressed at an amazing rate and we pray that it will continue. Thanks to Pr. Daryl for these photos!

Our church is taking shape! Soon they will be installing the large steel beam in the worship area. Extreme temperatures have not dampened the enthusiasm or the progress of our church!


Lots of volunteers showed up in the 35• heat to put up the large beams shown here.
